Another approach to check the profitability of your keyword is usually to use Yahoo Overture or Goggle AdWords and see how much they're charging correctly. Keywords they are charging a lot for are bigger money makers.
Invest (just a little) In Your Research
If you do not mind spending some dough, chance a short Google AdWords campaign and track the final results. Choose a few different keywords linked to your niche for that campaign. This will explain to you how everybody is clicking after searching that keyword.
ClickBank Is A Great Research Tool
One more good approach to find out if the keyword makes money is to check out Clickbank. Clickbank can be a site employed by affiliates to market digital products. You can see which merchandise is high gravity and hot sellers. This means there are lots of affiliates promoting it. It doesn't exactly mean there are a great deal of sales, however it is a great indicator that money can be made from this.
